Tsun Ming Chmielinski is an artist in love with life’s bold, beautiful motions. She effortlessly switches between sumi-e, pastel, oil, and acrylic, evoking something unique in each. Her spontaneous brushstrokes and rich colors carry a message of serenity, joy, and wonder.

Born in China and raised in Hong Kong, Tsun Ming Chmielinski began painting at age fourteen as a private student of the late Zen Master, Shaw Lup Sing.

Tsun Ming then immigrated to the United States in 1976 to pursue an academic education and career, earning a BA in Finance (University of Massachusetts), an MBA (Bentley University) and an MA in Business Communication (Emerson College), while raising a family.

She currently teaches art classes at various art centers, Foxhill Village in Westwood (an exclusive retirement community), and in her private studio in Quincy, Massachusetts.
